Myla Smith has been on the road this month, but no matter where she goes, Memphis is always home. No April Fool’s joke here – this month is full of Myla in Memphis!
Starting at Otherlands on April 4 and ending at Signal Flow’s Trolley Night on April 25, Myla’s hometown fans will have four chances to see her perform this month.
Myla’s first stop in Memphis will be Otherlands on Friday. (8 to 11 p.m., all ages, $7 cover) She’ll be joined by Heather Batchelor, who’s been on the road with her (and Chris Milam) the past few weeks. They hit Nashville on Saturday.
Next up, the Laurelwood Unplugged Series at Laurelwood shopping center in East Memphis, Thursday, April 10. Weather permitting, this’ll be an outdoor concert next to Panera Bread and Fleet Feet Sports. Free, all ages, 6 to 8 p.m.!
This one you definitely don’t want to miss: on April 19, join Myla and her band at the historic Levitt Shell for the Easter Eve Concert presented by Independent Presbyterian Church. Like all Levitt Shell shows, this will be free to attend and picnic baskets are welcome. Bring a blanket and be part of something big – Myla will record that night’s set to be released as a live album later this year! – from 6 to 8 p.m.
Myla’s last stop in Memphis this month will be with us – she’ll play Signal Flow’s Trolley Night on April 25! She’ll be joined by Ali Sperry – free to the public at 502 S. Main Street from 6 to 9 p.m.!
